Segelclub Kammersee (SCK)

Founded in the year 1962, the SCK looks back at an eventful past and towards an interesting future. With the H-Boat-World Cup in 1985, the relatively young sailing club faced its first large challenge on an international level. Quickly step by step: Ten years later initially the H-Boats-World-Cup was executed again and in 1998 the ASSO-European Championships was realized by the SCK. In 2001 the European championships were executed. Lately in 2005 the Tempest Class took a bout who was to be World champion at Lake “Attersee”. Throughout the course of SCK’s history they have dispatched three Olympic participants as well as numerous sailors at European and worldwide championships. The club facilities itself have been altered in consideration of the needs due to this large events, and are now known as “state of the art” throughout internal sailing circles.
